Our client, an award-winning Employer Brand Marketing Agency based in Liverpool, have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and creative Content Strategist to join their team. As Content Strategist, you will be responsible for bringing global client's content and communications strategies to life across paid, owned and earned channels. Working in partnership with an innovative and award-winning digital advertising creative team, you will be the person creating links between creative campaigns and key marketing channels, forming a seamless experience which turns interest into action, helping our clients attract world class talent to their business.

Role:


As Content Strategist, you will be responsible for bringing global client's content and communications strategies to life across paid, owned and earned channels. Working in partnership with an innovative and award-winning digital advertising creative team, you will be the person creating links between creative campaigns and key marketing channels, forming a seamless experience which turns interest into action, helping our clients attract world class talent to their business.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Owning our client's content strategies
  • Building brilliant brands with an extensive understanding of content and channels, particularly digital and social
  • Working alongside the wider content team to develop and deliver the online content strategy
  • Producing a Content Plan to guide content production throughout the year
  • Identifying opportunities for growth through the production of online content
  • Understanding the needs of each clients audience in order to create content that resonates with them
  • Recognising the vital role that content plays within SEO and understanding how to produce and structure content that ranks well in search engines

 

Skills:


  • Experience in overseeing content strategy and production for client campaigns, including all aspects of ideation and content development
  • A deep understanding of communications channels, particularly digital and what content will elevate the messages across these platforms from both an earned, organic and owned perspective
  • Overseeing development of various digital content types in our product portfolio
  • including white papers, blog posts, long-form articles, interactive infographics, immersive experiences, advertising copy and videos.
  • Team management experience
  • Experience in managing the work of in-house experts, freelance writers and other contractors, including making project assignments and editing draft copy
  • Working with internal project management, research, sales, and other teams to ensure that all client needs are met throughout the planning, development and delivery process
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities and responding to client briefs in collaboration with commercial teams
  • Global content marketing and editorial writing experience
  • Adept at storytelling and able to translate this to an immature Talent/Recruitment industry vertical
  • Data-driven and tech-savvy attitude
  • The ability and resilience to manage multiple campaigns and work to tight deadlines
  • Strong organizational, project management and communication skills
