We have an exciting opportunity for a creative yet commercially driven Brand Manager to join a global market leader in the DIY arts and crafts marketplace, with the company designing, manufacturing and distributing the finest products to the creative industry. As Brand Manager, you will be working alongside the Creative Support & Development Specialist to ensure that the various company brands remain recognisable, up to date and exciting to customers. You will form strategies for building public perception and ensure that branding is consistent across advertising & campaigns, product design and packaging.

Role;


As Brand Manager, you will be working alongside the Creative Support & Development Specialist to ensure that the various company brands remain recognisable, up to date and exciting to customers. You will form strategies for building public perception and ensure that branding is consistent across advertising & campaigns, product design and packaging.


Key Responsibilities;


  • Working alongside the Creative Direction and Product Support Specialist to develop strategies for the promotion of brand recognition, brand growth and brand expansion.
  • Conduct brand audits to determine the strengths together with their weaknesses or inconsistencies and develop strategies for making improvements and new developments
  • Building brand awareness and increasing brand value and profitability
  • Increasing profitability and market share
  • Ensuring that all messaging and marketing activities are aligned with brand and company values.
  • Analysing competitor brands, consumer trends and shopping behaviours in order to predict future trends.
  • Work collaboratively across, sales, marketing, design and product development to ensure the brand strategy is communicated and understood.
  • Development and implementation of style guides and brand guidelines for the various company brands and associated license collaborations.
  • Supervising all visual asset creation to ensure branding guidelines are adhered to, this includes assets for web, advertising & social campaigns, along with any virtual and in person events.
  • Assisting in the design of product, packaging and in store marketing displays.
  • Support with researching external presenters and licensed designers for potential future collaborations.
  • Analysing the success of marketing campaigns and creating reports
  • Work with Key stakeholders to ensure clear brand development direction is provided at the briefing stage of tasks.
  • Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.

 

Essential Skills;


  • An industry professional qualification L6/equivalent such as a Degree in business, marketing or related field.
  • Industry specialist with 5 years’ minimum experience developing brand and marketing strategies supported with evidence of achieving great results.
  • Hardworking, leads by example, disciplined, adaptable, ‘can do’ attitude with a strategic and passionate approach to brand development.
  • Communicates professionally well (written and verbally) at several business levels
  • Strong organisation, planning and time management skills with high attention to detail and an ability to plan and prioritise to meet timescales and deadlines
  • Possess the ability to work to a very high standard whilst under pressure
  • Prior project management experience, with a focus on brand development
  • Hand-on experience in creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand development
  • Excellent working knowledge of software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.
  • Exemplary interpersonal and analytical abilities
  • Work experience in the Arts and Crafts industry, preferred
