Telesales Executive

We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UKs leading Telecoms distributors, for a Telesales Executive to join their ambitious and growing team based in Leigh. As Telesales Executive, you will promote & sell the company’s range of products & services by contacting key personnel within the supplied customer base via telesales calls, proactively calling potential customers to develop them into spending accounts by effectively utilising your time. The role will grow from a Telesales Executive position to a telesales account manager position as you develop a spending customer base and demonstrates your knowledge and experience. Training will be provided by manufacturers and in-house training will be provided on systems and products, so you have a detailed knowledge of the leading products in the market.

Role

As Telesales Executive, you will promote & sell the company’s range of products & services by contacting key personnel within the supplied customer base via telesales calls, proactively calling potential customers to develop them into spending accounts by effectively utilising your time.


Responsibilities

  • Promote & sell the company’s range of products & services by contacting key personnel within the supplied customer base via telesales calls.
  • Proactively calling potential customers to develop them into spending accounts by effectively utilising your time.
  • Sourcing your own leads
  • Diarise calls & collate relevant information through our CRM system and also to ensure the CRM system is up to date with customers current details
  • Maintain sales pipelines and maximize conversion
  • Display a positive and professional attitude


Skills

  • Telesales experience and formal training that you can demonstrate in the interview
  • Experience selling IT and Telecoms services is advantageous but not essential
  • Knowledge of telecommunications equipment would be advantageous but not essential
  • Being self-motivated is a key aspect of the role as the right person will want to grow a large account base from the data provided
  • Experienced in actively negotiating business opportunities
  • Must be comfortable working towards agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • High levels of resilience and tenacity
  • Positive outlook, with a desire to achieve
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Target-driven, always looking to improve and develop
  • Constantly strive towards professional growth in sales skills, business skills and product knowledge

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, with 1 hour for lunch, you will be expected to work one late night on a rota basis until 6pm approximately once every three weeks after your 3 months probationary period.
